Click Packages Latest

Posted on September 3rd, 2011

Following on from yesterdays update, we have decided to announce that we will be varying the number of free clicks packages rewarded over the next few days in order to find the best combination. We will of course post an update once we have decided on an outcome.

The aim is to ensure as many members can click cash cubes as possible, whilst benefiting advertisers too.

Currently… we are rewarding a FREE clicks package every 2 hours, varying the number of clicks rewarded to ensure more standard members can click cash cubes.

Free Click Packages Updated

Posted on September 2nd, 2011

We have decided to update the free click packages given away daily to cube owners.

We are now rewarding a cube owner a FREE x100 (as opposed to x50) clicks package every 4 hours. This will allow a larger number of members to click cash cubes which will also benefit advertisers.

The site has grown tremendously over the last year, even to the point where there are cash cubes for ALL members to click daily.

Replacing Referrals Delay

Posted on August 23rd, 2011

We are aware that there has been a delay in replacing referrals – this was caused by a mail server issue for most of last month. Referrals will be replaced this week and next (in order of requests).

Price brackets removed

Posted on August 16th, 2011

We have decided to remove the price brackets when listing a cube for sale. (for now…)

No doubt we will receive mixed views on this, but we have learnt some interesting things that we hope will continue to improve the way in which cubes are sold.

We do have some methods and ways of helping to ensure members can still sell low value cubes for £1, whilst ALSO allowing members to sell higher value cubes for less if they wish to. As long as members can still sell low value cubes, the changes won’t affect them. This is our aim.

We will be changing some of the algorithm that determines which member’s cubes are promoted on the home page and on the Buy a new cube page and we are currently looking into further methods of ensuring that members can continue to sell low value cubes for £1.

The problem we were experiencing before we first introduced price brackets, was that members were no longer able to sell low value cubes. This is what we don’t want to happen.

Some new updates

Posted on July 15th, 2011

We have several new updates.

1. Unfortunately, we no longer provide a free referral when purchasing a 200+ clicks package.

2. The price of transferring cube funds has been reduced by 50%! :)

3. When requesting a payout via Alertpay, please ensure your account is VERIFIED. 95% of members DO have verified accounts so this won’t affect you – there is no reason not to verify your account.

4. You cannot remove a cube on the same day that you list it for sale. The earliest you can remove it is the day after you list it.

5. Payments are generally taking around 5-10 days to be processed at the moment, although sometimes sooner. We can no longer send payments within 72 hours. We have too many payments to process and member’s deposits to check. All payments are processed manually. Over the last year, payment requests have doubled which means the activity on the site is continuing to grow which is fantastic news! Keep it up.

That’s all for now! :)

Offer Bug

Posted on June 30th, 2011

It seems there was an issue placing an offer on a member’s cube outside of the price brackets.

This has now been fixed.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Price brackets removed…

Posted on June 20th, 2011

We have decided to remove the price brackets when a member makes an offer on a member’s cube. This should allow members to continue selling low value cubes for £1, whilst enabling members a little more freedom when accepting offer and negotiating prices for their cubes.

This should benefit both Premium members and Standard members.

More sold stats

Posted on June 15th, 2011

It seems we have some mixed feelings with regards to the price brackets for selling cubes. We posted some stats that members still didn’t believe showed a true reflection. Members are still convinced that only cubes priced at £1 are being sold.

Well, in actual fact… we have some MORE stats that shows this isn’t quite the case and these stats do show a true reflection and cannot be argued with.

These stats are taken from the same time period.

BEFORE price brackets introduced. (approx. 30 days)
x80
cubes sold for £1 – £1.99.
x13 cubes sold for £2 – £2.99.
x10 cubes sold for £3 – £3.99.
x5 cubes sold for £4 – £4.99.
x8 cubes sold for £5+

AFTER price brackets introduced. (approx. 30 days)
x121
cubes sold for £1 – £1.99. (+41)
x14 cubes sold for £2 – £2.99. (+1)
x11 cubes sold for £3 – £3.99. (+1)
x4 cubes sold for £4 – £4.99. (-1)
x16 cubes sold for £5+ (+8)

In actual fact members have sold MORE cubes for £2+ than they did BEFORE the price brackets were introduced as well as quite a few more cubes for less than £2.

To clarify, since the change…
Members are selling cheaper cubes for almost the same price they were before.
Members have sold more cubes for £2+
More cubes have been sold in total.

We are still considering to revert back to the old system, but when we look at the stats, which DO show a true reflection of the activity, it might seem a disadvantage to members.

Again, what do you think?

So far, so good

Posted on June 10th, 2011

We thought we would update you with the latest with regards to selling cubes as we know this has proved a talking point for some of you.

It has been almost 1 month since we introduced the price brackets in which cubes must be sold for, and so far it IS working!

The average sale price of a cube (the amount you are paid for your cube) is almost EXACTLY the SAME as before, but… the average cube value is around 40%+ LOWER.

This means that members are selling LOWER value cubes for almost exactly the same price as before. In other words, members are making almost exactly the same amount of money for their cubes, but without having to earn as many cube funds – almost half!

We are still testing this, and may or may not change back or ammend the current price brackets, but so far it has proved to be an advantage to members which is a great thing. Some stats shown below.

Stats taken from similar period (approx. 30 days):
Average cube value BEFORE price tiers added = £871.00
Average cube value AFTER price tiers added = £550.10

Average cube price BEFORE price tiers added = £2.45
Average cube price AFTER price tiers added = £2.20

So, what do you think?
